I’ve loved art for as long as I can remember. As a child I was always drawing faces, shoes, outfits—anything that carried beauty, personality, or expression. By high school, choosing art as an elective felt like the most natural decision in the world. Fashion magazines, glossy textures, statement accessories, and bold design were constant influences around me, shaping my instincts long before I realised they would become the foundation of my artistic identity. Over the years, art wove itself quietly through my life, resurfacing with new meaning as I grew older.
Eventually, I returned to it with a clearer sense of purpose. Teaching myself acrylic painting, working with textured mediums, and learning gold leaf foil application opened a completely new world. The more I experimented, the more I realised the techniques I gravitated toward—luminous finishes, couture-inspired details, expressive portraiture, and bold, glamorous styling. These were simply the adult evolution of everything I had been drawn to since childhood.
Luxe Wall Art by Lisa was born from this alignment of passion and vision. From my Sydney studio, I create artworks that blend painterly realism with radiant gold leaf foil, merging fashion’s dramatic sensibility with fine art’s emotional depth. My pieces explore feminine strength, glamour, and individuality through a mix of couture motifs, symbolic elements, and expressive portraiture.
As a self-taught artist, I’ve learned through curiosity, practice, and countless experiments with mediums such as acrylics, resin, soft gel gloss, texture pastes, and hand-applied gold foil. These materials have taught me how light interacts with surface, how shine sculpts emotion, and how to balance drama with softness. My professional background in marketing and executive assistance also influences my precision, structure, and commitment to creating a polished, high-end experience for collectors.
Today, my work continues to evolve with a focus on luxury craft and expressive storytelling. Each artwork is hand-finished in Australia, combining painterly beauty with couture-inspired detail to create timeless statement pieces designed to transform interiors and uplift emotion.
My goal is always the same: to create art that makes a home feel more confident, more glamorous, and unmistakably personal. Luxe Wall Art by Lisa is the embodiment of everything I’ve loved since childhood that is now finished with gold, intention, and shine.
